Priced the way a sheet metal shop prices

  • Weight from size, length and SMACNA gauge, by material: galvanized, stainless, black iron, aluminum.
  • Pressure class and seal class change the gauge, joints and reinforcement, and sealing labor.
  • Fittings, dampers and access doors per each; hangers generated with every run; insulation by type.
  • Labor by crew: open shop by state, union, or prevailing wage. Rentals, subs, tax, overhead and profit.

Addenda and revised sheets, without starting over

  • Load the revised set: each page replaces the sheet with the same number, and your takeoff stays.
  • Red is what was removed, green is what was added. Every change is boxed and numbered.
  • Ductora counts the takeoff marks that sit inside a change, so you know what to re-check.

Before you install

What do I need to run Ductora?

A Windows 10 or 11 PC (64-bit). The installer takes about a minute and does not need an administrator password.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Takeoff, pricing and proposals all work offline. Your projects are saved on your own PC, in Documents\Ductora.

Can I use my own prices and labor rates?

Yes. Every rate is yours to change: material per pound, fittings per each, insulation, hangers, crew wages, burden and markups.

Does it handle Canada and metric?

Yes. Switch between imperial and metric, and price in USD or CAD.

Is it only for sheet metal?

Ductora covers HVAC sheet metal and the air side: duct, fittings, dampers, air devices, equipment setting, insulation, controls and test & balance. Piping is not included.

What happens when the trial ends?

Pick monthly or yearly to keep working. Your projects stay on your PC either way.
